Welcome to the Port Pirie Youth Theatre

Youth Theatre is a not-for-profit amateur theatre group dedicated to letting the youth of Pt Pirie and Districts perform on stage in front of their friends and family. We cater for young people aged 11 to 17 years of age. Each year we put on a performance to the schools and the public of Pt Pirie. We rehearse all year for this show on Thursday nights until we get to September when the show is preformed at the Keith Michell Theatre.

2010 Production

This is the musical of the school play - a riotous parody of the annual nightmare...Miss Byrde is a fresh out of college drama teacher and Smithy is the school villain. She has had four years training and he has had at least ten - recognize the situation? Every student, teacher and parent will identify with this musical ! ~ Every school has a Smithy but remember, after this Smithy...you may not have a school!
